<p>Since I'm from Davis, I was just wondering if it is possible to take summer courses at UC Davis and transfer over the credits to Cal. I don't really need to take summer school, but it would be super convenient if I could take a class over the summer while I'm at home to perhaps fulfill a requirement. </p>
<p>For example, UCD has a class called Engineering 6 (UC</a> Davis General Catalog | Engineering (ENG) Courses) which is basically MATLAB for Engineers. The course sounds really similar to Cal's Engineering 7. Is there a chance I could substitute UCD's E6 for Cal's E7? There are other examples, but it's not necessary for me to list them.</p>
<p>I tried to check assist.org, but I could only find information about transferring CC classes, nothing about transferring courses between UCs. I realize that there might be a problem because UCD is on the quarter system while Cal is on the semester system, but I'm hoping that someone can give me some concrete information.
