Are UCs worth the extra cost

<p>hello I am an international student applying for fall 15.
I have been accepted to computer science program at ASU which is ranked really high in usa top 30
And have applied to Purdue EA</p>

<p>I wanted to know if UCs san diego(chance) DAVIS irvine SANTA Barbara (matches other than Berkley and LA are worth the extra 60k dollars?
Or will I be better off going to ASU cs or something like purdue penn state rutgers ncsu and try for grad school.</p>

<p>You’ll get a very good CS education at any number of schools. However it all depends on whether or not your family finds 30K more per year of any other use than using it on a UC education. Is it so much more important in your country to have a UC bachelors than an ASU bachelor? Will it mean more money or better jobs? Will ASU preclude you from employment? </p>
