Yep. I have a huge list of applications that I plan to send out December 11th at like 3:30 lol.

lol I still haven’t STARTED on my UCB essays yet…They’re due Nov 30.

I doubt I’ll have any motivation to start my 10+ applications until Dday.

If you and your family have no financial issues and you get accepted early at your first choice, there is no reason to send any other applications. If, however, you are like most people, it is important that you send the rest of the applications (and pour your heart into them) if you want to have academic and financial flexibility come April 1. It’s a lot better to have many choices. By the way, it’ll be a lot better if you send them before you get the EA notice: If you get accepted, you have less enthusiasm. If you get rejected, you’ll be depressed and have very few days to recuperate and do your best in the essays.

guys wait I have a question, lets say I already submitted by RD app for Harv/Prince. Assuming that I got into Penn (ED), will my application automatically be withdrawn from Harv/Prince? Even if I don’t notify them? I love Penn and intend to go there, but, out of curiosity, would also like to know if I could get into Harv/Prince.

Pretty sure it says somewhere on those applications that you have to notify them if you get in somewhere else ED.

^^Yea, you have to withdraw them yourselves. Sorry!

I am freaking out about D-day!!! I have a list of a couple of schools ready but I feel like I need more! It makes me feel sick when I think about how 75% of us will be rejected/deferred =[

^ the acceptance rate is around 32%, so only 68% of us will be rejected/deferred = P

well that’s slightly more encouraging =]
