Totes both

I’m motivated only and only by myself. Others are rather more probable to dismotivate me, asking weird questions like “but…for what are you doing all of this? Uni in your town is fine”

2. Humans are social creatures. Motivation cannot - by definition - magically come up on its own. Motivation comes only through comparison of either your current situation or future prospects.

A combination I guess When I was younger my parents pushed me to do well but as I got older I just sort of internalized the motivation so that I can motivate myself to get stuff done and done well

Number 1 mostly but I do try to keep up with my friends who are much smarter than me

Number 1 99%, number 2 1%. My friends are not too smart, and my parents don’t motivate me too much either. My mom has no idea how to motivate anyone properly, and my dad takes a very hands off approach (which I appreciate).

Both. Competition is a great motivator but I also strive for my personal best.

number 1
i literally have to fight my parents/teachers/friends/peers and all of their DEmotivators

My school offers no competition, so it’s just me. My mom accepts that I get good grades and just stays proud of me. If I randomly fail a test she’ll be like, “That’s fine I know you’ll do better.”

I am motivated by the dream of Ferrari ownership.
