So say I took most of my classes at Community College A, and one course at Community College B. I got a bad grade in that one course at Community College B, but it is not a required course. Am I required to put the bad grade I got on my college application send the transcripts from Community College B? Or can I just put the grades I got from Community College A and essentially "hide" the grade from Community College B?

I think the answer to this question is pretty clear. Your entire college history is linked to your social security number I believe. They can pretty much see anything. They can’t request grades without your express permission, but they can see that you’ve taken classes at an institution. They’ll end up asking you why you haven’t sent in transcripts from that institution, queue awkwardness, suspicion that you’re trying to hide something (which you are), and likely denial to the college you applied to. I think this is a legitimate question, so I’m saving you any condescension, but let’s just say the transfer process is a well ironed-out system.

Ah, I am enrolled in 4 different community colleges, but I have not taken classes in 2 of them. Will universities question me about those 2 CC’s I didn’t take any classes in?

@StaticRoar Unlikely. I’m enrolled in 2 CCs, never registered for classes in the 2nd one, and it has never been brought up. I don’t think there’s anything to question unless you’ve taken part in some coursework. I think even if you enroll in a class, and drop it within the refund period (before the W deadline) it won’t show up on your transcript. It’s only once you get a W or a grade that it’s pretty much permanently imprinted on your record.
