I submitted mine January 25. So about a month before deadline. They may be releasing decisions based on when applications were submitted too but I’m not sure.

It seems like people are being admitted by major. When I went on my transfer tour, I was told when you apply doesn’t matter, because I finished my application in December and I still haven’t heard back, but I’m applying for engineering, which I was told would take longer to hear back from.

did anyone tell you how much longer?

i applied to engineering also

I was never given a definitive date, unfortunately :\ I’m hoping within the next few days, but I was told it could be as late as May

I submitted my application on the last day possible. Afterward, I updated my transcripts on March 30, long after the deadline. I heard back on April 8th for CNS mathematics. I don’t think the date matters too much.

Thanks for this piece of info. That relaxes many of us.
When you say updated your transcripts on March 30, do you mean you send a new transcript to UT? But spring semester ends in May.

He submitted an updated transcript to show he met the 30-hour requirement. If you have not done so (and will not be doing so until the semester ends) do not expect a decision until May. Otherwise, I would be extremely surprised if anyone who already meets the requirements does not receive a decision before April ends.

Thanks mnaacd.
I have 30 hours, but one of the indicator courses still in progress. I guess I will have to wait after I send in my spring transcript.
But I still check MyStatus everyday. Just in case. :)

@mnaacd I am female, but thank you for clarifying my post Best of luck to you!

This is the week! I just know it! Ok, I’ve said that before, but I really really really think this week is the week. If not, then for sure the week after. ;D

@letsgoletsgo1 I’m hoping this is the week!! Good luck!

I GOT ACCEPTED TODAY!

After someone posted that they got accepted, I checked my status page and I got accepted to the College of Liberal Arts for Psychology! Hope everyone hears back soon!

I got accepted to the college of education. gpa 3.5. I am so so so happppppppy…

Congrats!
I have some news too.
Today I found out that the earliest I can get my Spring transcript is on May 21. That means my admission decision is probably not going to be made until the end of May, when all the seats will probably be taken anyway. At this point, I don’t know if I should still have hope.

Have hope!
A large number of transfer applicants are admitted after submitting updated transcripts. CAP students (a large percentage of the transfer pool) are not even eligible for review until they complete their second semester.

Has anyone in engineering heard back yet?

Nope. We’re all still waiting.

Thank you.

has anyone heard back from CNS for in-state transfers?

have any astronomy or physics majors heard back either way yet?
