Aren't my grades horrible?

I just got my 1st quarter grades and I have
B+ PIB(honors) English
B+ PE/Driver's Ed (1 stupid test)
A PIB Chemistry
A+ PIB Algebra 2
B AP World
B+ PIB Spanish 4...(gasp, surprise, i've always had an A in spanish)
A AP Government

Do colleges take note of your schools grading chart, because in my school a B+ is specifically a 89.5-93.4 and an A is 93.5 and above, a B is a 84.5-89.4
For all my B+'s i have atleast a 91...is that equivalent to an A-? Would colleges change all the B+'s to an A-?

Maybe you could ask the guidance counselor if she'll mention it.
Can't you just pull all the B+s up to As second quarter?

Maybe you could ask the guidance counselor if she'll mention it.
Can't you just pull all the B+s up to As second quarter? It's sooo close.

I just wanted to let you know that your grades are far from horrible, so please don't say that.

OMG!!! You can't make B's. No college is going to accept you now!

Seriously, I'm tired of these threads where people think that even an A - or a B is bad. You're not going to die.

so many Bs that it made my eyes blind... I can't see the keyboard right now

vicky, if you're not satisfied with your grades because you think you can do better than say so but dont call them horrible because that is extremely insulting to people who a.) have similar grades or b.) only wish they could have those grades. it's kind of inconsiderate of you.

Lol, if my school made b's up to 93.5%, I'd definetely wouldn't have my 4.0...

vicky, do you live in Fairfax County, b/c my grading scale is like yours. A copy of the grading scale will be sent to colleges with your transcript, so don't worry too much about your Bs. Also, colleges dont even see quarter grades, so just work on pulling them up this quarter!

Yes, they are simply vomitrocious. :D

Your grades are awful. You're rejection at every college. Prepare for army, soldier.

PS. ChaosTheory, what is that word? My Anglo-Russian vocabulary fails to find such.
PPS. Thanks CT for filling my vocab with new words all the time.

No, your counselor doesn't need to mention it, every school sends their grading system, etc. to the colleges. The colleges would probably just re arrange your grades so 90+ is an A.

By the way, vomitrocious isn't a real word, wow.

I know it isn't. =_="
It is a combination of vomit and atrocious. Hence, vomitrocious. :)

thankyou masterus. and no, lizzieE i dont live in fairfax, county

everyone always assumes VA=fairfax country

vomit + atrocious = vomitrocious, much?

Edit: oops realized Chaos already replied. :)
Cool word btw.

OMGosh yes. your grades are pathetic. no school's going to want you now.
