I'm glad you added that last part--I was beginning to think you were upset for some reason, haha. I guess you're right, both my CCs are filled with all those. :(

meh...Im just glad it's over...I remember during my senior year a teacher asked the whole class what college they were going to. We were going in order...I heard UCI, CSUF, UCSD, UCLA, Cal etc. etc....and then it was my turn...man that was embarrasing...

Yeah but now you get to bump into old classmates at UCLA and be like BAM! I bet you didn't expect to see me here, biaaaatch!

But yeah, that did suck.

LOL.

Actualy since most of my friends went to the IVY league (bastards, made me feel stupid) I can check in on them using facebook.

ucbhi: hahah yea....I remember this one jock who thought he was hot **** cause he got in UCLA...gonna pay the ******* a visit when I get there

what is wrong with you people? there is NO shame in going to a CC. CC is the reason you people are transferring to these top schools that you could only dream about as seniors in high school. god, show a little more respect to the institutions that got you where you are today. if anything you should be proud and thankful (to those complaining about the shame in it)

yah? let us know how you feel once you're done at ur cc.

Nicely said! I love California and I love my California Community College! I appreciate the opportunity that CCC offers me to be able to transfer to a top school like UCB, UCLA or USC. I love my CCC! I love my CCC!

There's nothing wrong with the CC institution or the faculty, only the student atmosphere. Any achiever is going to be happy to move out of the drop-out niche. But like I said that's just my view at my particular CC, which is a far cry from the DVCs of the CC system.

I have my last day of notes tomorrow (today) and then next week is finals. The feeling when I opened the mailbox and saw the fancy blue envelope with a sticker holding it shut that said, "Welcome to SMU, The Smart Move" was worth the hours I spent teaching myself Precal to test into Calculus and dealing with the deadbeat losers.

I am glad that I took the "backdoor" to college though. I did not have to deal with TAs teaching classes with 200+ students. I did not have to live in freshmen dorms and use community showers that people leave bodily fluids in. I did get the chance to prove that the SAT does not determine how one will do in college and is complete ********. If I did not go to a CC, I would not be transferring to a top 20 business school.

Having said that, enough is enough.
