Aren't you glad Community College is over?

TWO MORE WEEKS!!!!!! now I can finally tell people what college I go to without hesitating....

definitly... Every time i go to the doctor or dentist (like once a year), I am always asked that. Now, it will be easier to answer.

Unless you go to school here. After my next class that starts in 45min's, summer vacation begins. :D

Lucky, you guys. My spring quarter doesn't end until end of June. Then summer quarter kicks in after one weekend of rest.

What will you do over the break? Besides reviewing programming and studying circuits?

^^ working job

I'm so happy it's over. I see so many bums at my school that I know won't ammount to anything in life. I also find it funny that people here actually run for Student Body President and stuff and they cite that the reason they should be elected is because they've been here for four years. I'm glad to be out of a place where a lot people just laze around and don't take initiative.

werd...community college GE classes are like high school all over...dumbass blonde, fat guy, hippie chick who talks about pot all the time, pseudo-intellectual liberal moron, poseur punk/goth/emo bastard, stupidass jock...screw them

Unfortunately, you find those people everywhere.

how about the angry black dude? you forgot him.

^^ almost no black dudes in Irvine

Citan... you must hate your GEs courses hahahaha

yea I feel much more comfortable in my Science/Math/Programming courses....I just fit in more and relate to people there...GE courses, as I said, reminds me way too much of HS

Oh yeah, I think so too... taking my GEs courses and math/physics/chem courses are totally different at least on the competition level.

I see two extremes: on most of my GE courses, I see bunch of slackers and about after the midterms, many students just drop so getting A in GEs is so much easier (as long as I read the books, do all the assignments=I receive A) but the math/science are much much harder to get A: Not only I read the books but constantly think plus the materials are very technical so speed reading might not be the option, math hw is assigned almost every day and they take such a long time to finish, plus some intelligence is required and then killing some brain cells with all nighter studying =most likely getting an A but also needs little luck too. This reminds me of physics, I got both B+ in 2 of them which just kills my 4.0 GPA. I hate physics!!!!!!!!! Too hard!

Spring semester for me doesn't end until the first week of June...Then I'll be taking a couple of Summer courses two weeks after that. But eh, at least they're all online. :)

Just sick of people that are taking classes for no reason. They don't really have transfer or AA degree plans, they just take them so that they can be in school like everyone else. Also the morons that show up in college at 9am and then cut their 9am class. Then they just stand around the campus trying to look cool. WHAT IS THE POINT OF COMING THAT EARLY??

(2) Don't need to get a real job. I think my parents are convinced that Americans toss out their kids out of the house after age 18 (if they don't go to college) or when they graduate high school.
(3) Technical degree! I think a lot of people at my community college are here for nursing or auto repair.

^^ I also know many people in CC who graduated with a BA in some liberal arts degree (one I hear most is Psychology) but when they found out that you usually need a PhD to get a decent job in the field...they came back to CC. Also know a lot of people who were put on academic probation from UCI...lot's of "pre-meds" in this category lol

Two more weeks? I've got another month and a quarter. You bastards.

Those are all reasons. I'm talking about people that go to CC for -no- real reason. I go to a low-income neighborhood CC so maybe my perspective is a little different than most of you here... i.e. there are no OC blondes, punks, or psuedo intellectuals :)

meh...Im just glad it's over...I remember during my senior year a teacher asked the whole class what college they were going to. We were going in order...I heard UCI, CSUF, UCSD, UCLA, Cal etc. etc....and then it was my turn...man that was embarrasing...
