Argh, Calculus

Don't know if this in the right forum, but w/e.

I'm taking Calculus right now (not AP, but honors). I'm not doing absolutely horribly, but I feel that I could definitely understand the material better. Are there any good textbooks you guys can recommend? I'm using Calculus I w/ Precalc by Larson, Hostetler, and Edwards. I find the explanations in the book to be very lacking, and while I am able to do the problems, I would much rather understand all the concepts and really master the material.

Augh, I have the Algebra II and Trigonometry textbook with those same people! I literally loathe them. Sorry I can't help you. :[

I'm going to bump this b/c Calculus has me down again. What do you guys use for textbooks? How do you like them?

I don't use one, and I like that a lot.

Online Calculus Book & Video Lectures
Pauls Online Math Notes

both really helpful imo.

I have the Pearson- Prentice Hall one by Finney/Demana/Waits/Kennedy and it's all right I guess. Actually, no, it kind of sucks. Because Calc sucks.

i think there's something like paul's calculus notes? it's online, google around... got me through AB last year..

also, i had as well a larson/hostetler/edwards textbook but i think it was the edition without precalculus... there were online supplementary materials that really helped, if you have that (Eduspace) use it.
