Arizona State University Honors College

So, I think I'm going to have to settle for an in-state school, even though I've got Pitt and Northeastern paying for my tuition. There's not any way I can swing paying for room, board, and other expenses. I recently visited the Barrett campus at Tempe and was very impressed. I still have one concern though. First, it seems as though University of Arizona is better than ASU academically. While it seems that Barrett is the better honors college, the amount of credit hours that are part of the honors system seems pretty small. (around 36 out of 120, or something like that, I forget...) It seems like the honors system at ASU only covers a portion of education, while the rest is spent at the same old ASU. Is that the case? Is ASU really not that bad academically? Is Barrett worth it? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!
