ART HISTORY vs HISTORY

which one's harder? art history makes u use language in a very difficult way (not to mention u have to have some knowledge of several languages)...so it might be more difficult...what do u think?

i've always been interested in history and i was always able to develop powerful and compelling ideas, seeing connections that others do not and i might be the one for it. so, will a guy who enjoys THE HISTORY OF THE DECLINE AND FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE really succeed in history ( i mean, he will bw famous)?

but...there is a part of me that wants to just enjoy work in the air conditioned, glass-covered super sleek museums.

i bet, this thread will grow like crazy if i put business vs econ as the title. so sick of being pushed aside my the impacted commander-in-chiefs of financial success

I'm going to major in Pokemon Area Studies. (I'm more interested in either Kanto or perhaps Shinou.) I've narrowed it down to pokemon history or Pokemon Art History. The former is a relatively new field but it has much studies of the ancients. (In that part of the world even the ancients had well-developed technologies.) The later tends to incorporate biological elements like anotomy as well as having a general emphasis on a circular ball as being the ideal and perfect form in nature. Of course, nature is the inspiration for most art here which makes the field much more 'pure' than the art based on art which you'll be studying in your current major.

These majors are also less impacted than the one's you're taking and I demand that you also move into one of them.

charizard, the reason why those majors are un-impacted is that they don't exist. how long will ur obssession with pokemon last? i've to admit ur above post was pretty funny, but it's time to grow up and nurture ur greatness

really charizard? Me too. Im going to Johto University next year. I cant wait to take my class on eon (the language of the eevees.)

They’re both equally useless, and I’m sure you’ve probably learned this by now…

Thanks for that entirely relevant and useful post.

i can’t speak for history, but what I loved about all my art history classeswas the overall education involved in learning the subject. you can’t fully understand works without understanding the periods or the context of the time. i don’t know what history is like, but another major that could be like history and art history is literature.
