Art Supplement for Photography?

I am considering sending an art supplement with a portfolio of my photography to colleges. I'm wondering if this will be beneficial, and perhaps give me an edge. Also, it is such a huge part of who I am, I feel as though not showing it would be like hiding a huge part of my self.

That's my flickr, please look through (not just page 1 but all) and tell me what you think. I haven't really gone out and shot "for my portfolio" yet, but have gathered some of my favorites in the set titled "portfolio". Also if there's any you think I should have included please tell me : )

also: I've been on display at a gallery/museum twice, published in the newspaper, and interned with professional photographers

I also have film experience

and its all manual.

Some of the concert photography is great, and I love your photostream! I kind of want to get into it myself; I’ll be shooting a The Higher concert on the 20th, and if I like it, I’ll request more photo passes (:

I’m also kind of in the same boat. I want to do a supplement for my app too with a photography portfolio (but I’m a ways from that since I’m rising junior, class of 2011). I’m not as experienced as you are though, since I started in Feb 2009.
