art supplement (RD)

I have some questions about the arts supplement (especially to those of you who were successful ED round - CONGRATS BTW!!):
1) Do the works that we send in have to have won awards? I would like to send in an art supplement to support an essay that I wrote on a hobby, in which I haven't taken any lesson. Of course, I have sold some of my pieces, so there is some talent involved.
2) How much does this weigh in the admissions process?
3) off topic// did anyone submit a resume in addition to the small space that the common application provides? I know that Penn allows supplement resumes, and I was wondering if Princeton did as well.

Muchos gracias!!!

PS - one more thing: for people who submitted art, what type of paper did you use? I'm using a Cannon i560 (normal desktop printer) for printing and I'm looking for durable, professional paper. Thanks again!

erm. bump please

the art supplement doesn't say anything about award requirements, so no

i would imagine it only helps borderline applicants

i don't know

does anybody know if they'll take material even though the deadline has passed?

4) Are you talking about ED? If you've been deferred, you can send in stuff until late Jan. If you're talking about RD, they probably will not accept anything after the deadline.

I just got accepted ED and I think that my art supplement was greatly to thank. So yes! I think that it does help a lot! Even if it is sent to the art department and they don't think that you are a future Picasso, it can't hurt you because at least they see a different side of you, something beside words and numbers
No you do not need to be the winner of any art award
And as for paper? You should have slides taken and send those in, the minimum is 10 I believe.

Speaking of arts supplements and deadlines, I sent my art supplement (music CD) after the deadline so they probably weren't reviewed. Will it be reviewed automatically now that i've been deferred? Or will I need to request it specifically?

And no kinetic, awards are not a requirement - I'm a self-taught musician and I sent a supplement. The material is obviously more important.
