<p>I believe that I do have a very strong relationship with my art teacher! I planned for her to be writing my general letter of recommendation to my colleges. </p>
<p>Now, after doing some research, I have found out that Art Supplements require an ADDITIONAL letter of recommendation. </p>
<p>I plan on sending an art supplement.</p>
<p>What do I do? I cannot possibly have two letter of recommendations from the same teacher, can I?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure that the two teacher recommendations that the common app requires have to be from academic teachers. That’s why it asks specifically for an art teacher’s recommendation in the arts supplement. Is there another teacher you could ask for a recommendations</p>
<p>It really depends on the schools. Some schools specify from which teachers they want the recommendations.
On common app, it does not have to be from academic teachers. The letters can be from a counselor, academic teacher, or an art teacher.
