Hey everyone

I'm thinking about submitting an art supplement but I am not sure whether I am good enough of an artist to do so.

Do you think I should submit these?

Thank you!! :)

Do you want to major in the fine arts? If so, then go for it, since those are decent pieces, but if not, then art supplements would be moot.

^Not true. I am a student who is very involved in theatre as a stage manager and properties master and applying to LACs as an education studies, English, and German major. They all said I should submit one. However, if your school offers a BFA in the programme you’re submitting a supplement for and you’re not applying for that programme (so if you want to submit a fine arts portfolio to a school that offers a BFA in fine arts, and you’re not going to major in fine arts) THEN it’s not worth it. Things you want to ask yourself:

1) Are you truly talented in your art?
2) Have you dedicated a significant amount of your time and energy to it?
3) Will you continue it in college?
4) Can you put together a great portfolio?

If you said yes to all of those, then go for it.
