I need school suggestions! Here's the sitch.

I'm a junior at State U. After several unhappy semesters in math and economics, I officially switched into fine arts and writing last spring. I love it. (Should have listened to intuition when I started college.)

However, now that I've gone and made this huge personal and career leap, I need to transfer schools. Both departments are quite weak where I am now, and it will be practically impossible to get training in both fields within a natural time frame because they are in separate schools and have conflicting course times. Moreover, I need a challenging environment where I can get high-level studio training in drawing and printmaking. I have a strong foundations portfolio. I'm thinking: art institute. (I don't care if I have to start in foundations again, or even as a freshman... I'm doing the equivalent at my home school anyway.)

Here's what I don't know: Writing is my first blood. I don't want to abandon it for art, but I'm having trouble finding liberal art schools or art institutes that combine the two. I'm looking for integration, for writing taught AS an experimental studio alongside fine arts. (Not dual degrees if I can help it.) I know SAIC has a new undergrad "emphasis in writing," and RISD pairs with Brown a great writing school. Other ideas?
