I don’t think D.W. would make it to college. I forsee her befriending Tyra (since they have so much in common–both talk about themselves incessantly [OT: I remember in this one episode, this girl was talking about how she was helping young African women do something or other, anyway, Tyra interrupts her mid-sentence and starts talking about when she modeled in Africa])

…I have a short attention span. What was I talking about?

yup. I love arthur. I totally watch it if its on TV. I dont think Binky is academic enough for Reed. what about U Michigan? I can totally picture Muffy crying because she couldnt get into Yale or something. As for Arthur, Vanderbilt? I didn’t picture him as a Southerner. maybe more like Georgetown? cuz I think the town they live in is Mid-Atlantic.

Guys, Arthur can’t go to college because he’s just an aardvark. The cast of Hey Arnold! on the other hand…

Arnold: Columbia, he’s smart and urban
Gerald: Georgetown
Helga Pataki: Barnard so she can stalk Arnold
Olga Pataki: Harvard
Phoeboe: MIT
Harold: State U
Lilah: Bryn Mawr (women’s LAC)
Rhonda: Fashion Institue of Technology
Stinky: Community college…in Arkansas.
Eugene: Kalamazoo College
Curly: technical school full of sketchy people
Wolfgang: State U to play sports or something

Xargon-I can totally see him at Georgetown, agreed. They’re definitely not from anywhere Mid Atlantic though-the show’s set in Massachusetts! They always portray the Sox as the local team the Grebes and they have the Bruins and Matt Damon was on and during the “word from us kids” they’ve had lots of Boston locals and…

Oh good catch, lilyrobin. I was just going off of the fact that all the shows they go to see are in “New York, Elwood City, and Washington DC” I just assumed it was between DC and NY because of this. and dont worry i clearly watch this show too much as well

Ok so I agree with Arthur not being at Vanderbilt, but I think Georgetown might be a little too preppy for him. He’s the only normal one on the show-> Maybe WUSTL or if they are in Mass then BC or BU

I do agree about the whole Tyra thing- I love to hate her- but I think D.W. is way smarter than Tyra. Remember the episode with the goose? She was the best.

I remember being so sick of this show as a kid…Of course, I didn’t have cable, so being forced to watch PBS for lack of any other kids channels probably took all the trill of it away for me : P
