Yes. We heard last week.

Anyone hear from BW yet? I know they are sending out emails tomorrow afternoon, but some said they might call accepted MT students tonight.

Havenā€™t heard anything yet but kid is at rehearsal. She applied to the Acting, not MT.

I just got my first MT acceptance today from Marymount Manhattan!!!

Congratulations!!! So happy for you!

Congratulations! What a great feeling!

My DD has not heard from BW today, she is already waitlisted though. We do know two girls who got acceptance calls today. One is a doppelgƤnger for my DD so I expect the waitlist may turn into a no thanks soon.

My D will be BFA Acting at Ball State in the Fall! It was her safety until she went to audition and she felt at home. She is so excited!

Congratulations!! Guess campus visit really is the key stuff. S21 fell in love with his university in UK after a visit in 2015, which indeed was a huge motivation for him to change HS, took all tough tests and exams. Now he enjoys everyday there

FWIW theyā€™re on Spring Break this week so I donā€™t know if that helps/hurts/makes no difference. Youā€™re not alone in the anticipation though!

The Acceptd letter we got when we scheduled our auditions said ā€œmid-Marchā€ thoughā€¦

I donā€™t know a ton about the BA Drama program at UW, except what Iā€™ve heard from my daughter. We live in the Seattle area, and she is active in multiple youth theaters and Seattle is a lively but close theater city/scene. Iā€™ve heard the BA is good, but not great and that they do put more attention to their masterā€™s program, which has a very, very good reputation. The UW dance and music departments are both pretty well regarded too, but they no longer have a musical theatre department. That said, Iā€™ve also heard that their program is tied in with and makes great connections with the local Seattle theatre scene. And there are multiple professional theaters of all sizes in the area. Honestly, I was disappointed that my daughter did not apply to UW. Itā€™s our local school, and Iā€™m an alum, but she wanted MT. As an academic institution and for the big school experience, itā€™s fantastic. Good luck with all your decisions!
