I called the MIT admissions office today to check up on my supplemental materials, and one of the staff informed me that my art portfolio hasn't been processed yet. Now, I know it arrived because I received the UPS confirmation, it's just that the architecture department hasn't gotten around to evaluating it yet. Should I be worried? Has anyone else's arts supplemental been received? Should I try contacting the architecture department?

My son applied EA and included a music supplement. He received an e-mail confirmation that it was received (from a Music Professor). Otherwise, he was told not to expect further confirmation; additionally, supplements are not tracked on mymit. It sounds like you have nothing to be concerned about, as long as you know your package was received.

I don't think you should be worried. I emailed the professor that was on the address and he had his assistant email me back that they had mine. I'm sure they are getting around to looking at them.

Oh, that's a relief! Thank you guys! :)
