As a transfer applicant, assuming I was deferred

will they ever ask for my midterm grades specifically? Since I do stuff by semester, my midterm grades would be in March. However, so far my grades have been only decent. It'll take me probably until March to bring MOST of them back up to par (A/A-, I have 1 B, 1 C+, 1 A- and 2 A's right now)

They'll be back near 4.0 range when I take my finals, but will be a lot harder to bring them up in that range in mid March.

If it helps, I submitted my stuff in late Jan, and completed like Jan 20th

And if I do ask for midterm grades, could I give a reason to give them my final grades? (A lot of teachers don't put in grades until last minute, all my grades up there were just estimates)

FWIW, they have admitted relatively few transfers so far. The application processing for transfers is handled differently than that for freshman applicants, so don't read too much into the timing of decisions posted here.

I hadn't seen any posts for Fall 07 transfered admitted. It's good to know that they have in fact admitted some. Maybe I won't have to wait too much longer.

Do you have any idea how they are different? I've heard that transfers get anywhere from 1-3 different adcoms to read.
