Hi all,
I am a second-year student at UC Davis looking to transfer to UCLA next year. I know that political science is a pretty popular major at UCLA, so I’m wondering if there is a similar major at UCLA that would be easier to get into.
Hi all,

What do you actually want to study?
Why do you want to transfer?
You can use this link which shows the UC transfer GPA by major and campus to determine where your current stats place you in regards to major options:

Yes, art, dance, or French majors at UCLA may have lower admit GPA ranges as listed at https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major , but if you have no interest in them and/or have not taken the frosh/soph level prerequisites for them, then it will be of no use applying for them.
Thanks everyone for responding! I want to study something related to political science, human rights, and/or international relations.
I want to transfer to UCLA because I’m unhappy in Davis. As someone who comes from a big city, being in such a small town has been very challenging.
There are many. Use the link gumby sent and look at admit rates and GPA range. Then from there whittle down your faves.
I’m really surprised that you haven’t taken advantage of the political science clubs and activities at Davis.
Because the State Capitol, in Sacramento is 20 minutes away, a number of Davis polisci students work as interns at the Capitol.
My daughter loved being at Davis because she could access the San Francisco, the Bay Area, Berkeley, and Sacramento, often, taking the train into town on weekends.
If you don’t have the prerequisite’s for those majors, I don’t know how you’re going to be able to transfer into UCLA.
