Asian Sororities

I wasn’t able to find any information on Asian sororities (Chi Alpha Delta & Theta Kappa Phi), so I was wondering about a few things.

  1. What is the rushing process like and how is it different from Panhellenic?
  2. How much does it cost?
  3. What are some differences between the two?
  4. Is it extremely competitive/selective to get a bid like Panhellenic sororities?

Not in Asian Greek life but hope this helps.

  1. It’s not a formal rush process where you are split into groups and a recruitment counselor leads your group through the rounds. Asian sorority rush is more informal and chapter specific on what kind of events they do.
  1. Not sure how much they cost but def cheaper than panhel as they have no house.
  2. Still have sisterhood. But Asian Greek life and panhel/ interfraternity council chapters do not intermix.
  3. From what I’ve seen they’ll take pretty much anyone. Not competitive during the rush process.
