I'm trying to decide wheter to take Asian Studies 10B or Philosophy 3 for summer school. Any help is appreciated.

Which do you like more?

I'm interested in both, so I can't cut it down to one.

Using my masterful coin-flipping powers, heads assigned to Asian Studies and tails to Philosophy, I can formally recommend Asian Studies 10B as the course to take.

Seriously, though, if you don't have a preference, then it really doesn't matter. Take a look at prerequisite chains if you plan to take any further Asian Studies or Philosophy courses; other than that, just pick one.

I'd sit in each class for a few days (if your schedule allows it) and decide after you hear about the course and hear the prof talk. Also, if you have a GSI, you might consider switching (if you don't like him/her), and if you can't, take the other course. If you're so ambivalent, remember you will be fine in either course.
