im from an asian family and my parents encourage me to date, or "meet", new ppl of any races... theres only one thing that im not allowed to do... smoke pot</p>
<p>i'm indian...was with a chinese girl for a year and a half. after that, it was a korean girl (though that didn't work out either).</p>
<p>interracial stuff here seems to not be such a big deal at all...and people from stricter families usually just don't tell their parents at all.</p>

<p>Blonde is so overrated, perpetuated by Playboy propaganda and subtle notions of Nordic racial purity (as blonde hair is a recessive trait). Beauties like Rita Hayworth, Jessica Alba, and Lindsay Lohan have all, at one time or another, ruined their looks by going blonde. Not to mentino all those hardcore "AZNS" who express their ethnic pride by poisoning their hair into some hideous orange. </p>

<p>Hey I have a really interesting question. Does anyone know a lot about Sikhs? Does anyone know if they're religion allows dating people who are not Sikh? I know there is a sect of Russians, the Molokans, who absolutely prohibit "marrying out" but if anyone knows anything about the Sikhs that'd be cool. Because there is this one Sikh girl in my english class who is hella cool but I don't think she's allowed to date guys who aren't Sikh. any input would be appreciated.</p>

Bright blonde/white hair looks so bad on asians. It's the contrasting color of the eyebrows and hair. This does not only apply to asians.. Anyone who has dark eyebrows and bleached blond hair looks awful. I have yet to see the combination of light eyebrows and black hair lol.</p>

I can't speak for other Asian cultures, but the Indian culture is not centered on humility and deference....are you mistaking deference for a focus on the family as a unit?</p>

Dude, I clearly used the words "MOST ASIANS" when referring to the Asian dissent towards these practices. Besides, I AM Asian so I'm pretty sure I have met quite a number of my "own kind" FYI.</p>

<p>I think it's more individualized. It depends on the groups of people that you associate with. At least, that's the case in my school.</p>
