Asians at Davis?!?!

<p>are there a lot of asians at Davis? i heard it was only 13%, but people say it seems like a lot more.</p>

<p>according to the ucd brochure, there is a 36.3% asian population in the undergraduate school at ucd. (this is as of dec 2004).</p>

<p>13% is definatly way low. 36.3% seems more believable, but sometimes it seems more like 45%.</p>

<p>^^Haha, agreed. But yeah, it's definitely more balanced than some other schools such as Irvine. That's one of the reasons I picked Davis..</p>

<p>generally, there should be as many asians as whites. this is also the case at ucsd. however, i personally believe that the asians stick out at ucd while the whites stick out at ucsd. why? you can decide for yourself</p>

<p>haha. theories. i have some too but i do it for my self-entertainment. it's really funny how there are trends in all the UCs. anyway i honestly believe everyone is equal when it comes to going to college and studying. however the general population at different schools vary =].</p>

<p>yeah, its for me and my friends. It doesn't hurt that a bunch of us (well, really all of my school) got screwed by the circumstances we face. All of us love a good theory =)</p>

<p>aw cmon integratypeR. it's davis! you don't want to be sticking with your fellow race all the time! of course there are chinese there too. i'm vietnamese myself and i just want to meet everyone of every race. now i just have to sit here for another two agonizing weeks for my appeal to come back...</p>
