i'll probably still use chopsticks and eat rice occasionally.

I'll eat rice. Chopsticks only when in a Japanese restaurant or something though.

mj93 try asking the amish that.

It's weird that cc has lots of threads about Asian.

I'm going to eat rice and use chopsticks.. (1.5 gen)
I like to stay in touch with my korean culture and korean food is just a part of our culture.. and rice just happens to be in many of the dishes..
And when I grow up, I'm going to make sure Korean food is included in my family's meals for my children.
And I don't know why anyone (asians) would abandon chopsticks after 18 years of using them. Unless you really feel uncomfortable using them or something..

Dude rice is amazing. I'd never give it up.

yay lets eat rice........

I'm chinese, and i hate fried rice...yuk! :O. I hope i still eat rice.. i love rice.. got rice? pork leg, cow intestine, frog leg, pigeon, cow tongue, etc... so yummy.

parent:"does it taste good"?
me: "it's relative"

they sure hate me for that :p

I like rice......

Uh, I don't plan on not eating rice ever.

I can't live without rice

To the OP........ur thread style would make one wonder whether u consider rice and chopstick as backdated and 'stupid' cultural stuffs which are nothing more than retarded! (by the way, I DO and WILL eat rice ;) )

i will definitely eat rice for the rest of my life
but i dont like white rice, its not healthy either
i eat brown rice, the sticky kind

man i couldnt live without rice
i mean nothing else compares
seriously

oh and i use chopsticks too
or spoons

same as ad.bc, my mom only makes brown rice with beans(black beans, chicka(w/e),that beige oval bean with a black dot) so that its healthier and less fattening then regular plain white rice.

I need rice because I cant eat american food 24.7. my stomach can't handle all that grease and fat. even though my favorite food is pizza I need rice. I probably will eat rice when i grow up. im on a diet too so i dont eat that much rice as I used to. as said by ad.bc, nothing compares to rice. bread is just fattening all it has is starch, butter, salt literally.

i need chopsticks and spoons for life. even though im more of an americanized korean, i need chopsticks. i use forks, knives, and spoons when necessary.

my mom does that too! seriously its like 1/2 beans. i think she puts 6 different things in it. and she also puts wild rice in it too or whatever you call it, that black stuff.

yes. same as me. DAMN YO. i hated that stuff at first. but i got used to it... and since im on a diet and its healthy, i just shut up and eat.

I eat everything. I grew up eating rice. I don't see any reason why I should stop eating rice though. I'm pretty much all grown up and I still eat rice a few times a week, if not quite everyday.

I've switched to brown rice at home though... a bit healthier and definitely fills me up quicker.

Spanish rice is way better. Goya 4 lyfe!

I will definitely use chopsticks. Unless it's for steak/meat, I find chopsticks are very convenient and easy to slice things :D
I don't mind brown rice, it's way healthier, so I'll continue that. Heck, I even avoid white rice at home!
