ur thread style would make one wonder whether u consider rice and chopstick as backdated and 'stupid' cultural stuffs which are nothing more than retarded! (by the way, I DO and WILL eat rice )

lol it's a way to rebel against parents. ;)

I like rice, but it wouldn't kill me if I wasn't able to eat it. I've gone on many trips and stuff where I wasn't able to eat rice, and I had no problem.

I'm not Asian so I guess I'll just continue to eat hamburgers and not be offended.

I like brown rice though :) It's good. And chopsticks are good too. They make you eat slower so you get full before you stuff your face too much. I think that's a healthier option.

lmao. do you eat rice as a duty or something?

as something! It's just we're used to eating rice........nothing wrong w/ it rite?
Well, again, I can go w/o rice too, but I just like it not as a duty but just as being used to! :D

What kind of question is this? Of course I will eat rice and use chopsticks when I grow up..... I like to keep my Vietnamese culture which defines who I am. Besides is it really that hard to eat rice and use chopstick? I never got tired of eating rice lol.

And sorry say this you health-freaks, I just eat white rice and exercise. There is no shame of eating a lot of white rice lol.

"What's that he's speaking?"
"I think he's speaking French."
"You're Asian. Stop humiliating yourself!" (slap)
(from Rush Hour 3 trailer, a movie that I actually will try to catch in a theater, and I believe the next JC movie out)

Probably a stupid question: but by Asian, do you mean 'US born East Asians', just 'Asian Americans' in general, Asians as anyone that were born and live in any of the Asian countries (not necessarily limited to just East and South East Asian countries), Asians that live in the US, or what?
