<p>I also applied to CGS, sat4lyfe the things that RedOktober pointed out are examples of what shouldn’t even matter. At CGS you will be learning the same curriculium all other Boston University students will have to, instead of sporadically, you will be taking the classes all within your first two years… that is not a laughing matter at all.
Though I do agree, being able to have a more flexible course is likely to your own advantage.</p>

but coolbreeze i do know that last year like maybe 50-70 ppeople apply directly to CGS its a small number of people and about 14 ED to bu cgs</p>

Its not a shame to apply there, and you are respected just probably not by many “Jerks” but thats it. I wouldn’t make a big deal about it.</p>
<p>50-70 in total? Thats surprising, but BU is such a great school many would rather attend CAS etc… with expectations if not accepted deferred to CGS, which is what typically happens.</p>
<p>dude but since the classes are fixed u can study ahead of time over the summer LOL or at least know whats gonna go down in 1st sem of college with ur additonal eelective</p>

<p>CGS essentially seems like high school all over again, which is something that I, personally, could never do because it’s so constraining, not challenging, and boring. Anyways, the Crayon, Glue, and Scissors thing makes me chuckle :). Also, Coolbrezze, don’t tell me you’ve given up on UoM already :(.</p>

<p>I have a problem with this. You are failing your senior year of high school. Why aren’t you working hard to get good grades so you can get into BU? If you don’t put in the effort this year, you probably won’t next year either. I, personally, don’t understand why BU even offers CGS. It appears to be just another way to get money. I would never pay over 50k for CGS, jeez.</p>

<p>Motion12345 I’am just open to attending any of the schools I’ve applied to. As for University of Michigan, its a great school, but considering my 7th semester grades I will get a rejection anytime soon ( just have to complete the process by sending the 7th semester grades), my stats were below their average anyway ( as for most of the schools I’ve applied to)… reguardless I’ll be happy and make the best of my education where ever I go.</p>
