About the dual degree between Wharton and Math, it is definitely possible to do within 4 years. It'll all depend on how you plan your courses. I'm on this track, and it's been plenty fun so far (though I'm doing 5 since I'm also pursuing something else).

A warning about deciding too early about your majors/degrees/concentrations, etc: do realize how young you are. I'm a senior at Penn right now and I never thought I was going to be a math major...and I know plenty of kids who came in determined to do math...but never did. Math in college is VERY different from anything you've taken in high school, especially when you reach the upper level classes when numbers suddenly disappear and all you're left with are proofs, proofs, and more proofs. Just a heads up. But all in all, if you're decide to pull a math major, Wharton classes will strike you as a lot ... less challenging and interesting. Best of luck.

llgg2000 - no, I picked the one about making a mistake or learning from an experience or something along those lines.

I want to echo what Cheese_itz said. I applied to college as a science major wanting to work in nonprofits my whole life. Now I'm (tentatively) majoring in finance and minoring in French, Asian American Studies, and possibly Mathematics. Things can change a lot. And trust me, when I was in high school I was 100% sure I knew what I wanted to do. Since then my experiences have led me to find out what I truly enjoy, and it's nothing like what I thought I would be doing four years ago. It's definitely important to have a plan, but leave some wiggle room to get those experiences along the way.

It says that "Tests retaken in January will be accepted." What does this mean exactly? That if you missed a test, you can take it? Or does it mean if you're testing for the 2nd or nth term, you can take it? Because i did badly on my subject test and i was wondering if Penn RD accepts it.

Most of the topics the fellow Wharton students mentioned are not topics in this years Penn supplement. Is this right? or am I missing something.. The only topics I see are Why Penn, the p.217, and Which Professor.

Is the Why Penn essay weighed heavily in Admissions?
