wait, are you serious?! because IGETC lists college level math as a requirement.

would it be smart to call the school. my counselor was pretty clear that a college level math is super important to transfer to a UC.

I’m sorry, forgot about the separate IGETC requirements–follow that instead. Do you know the differences between those requirements and the pre-req’s? The assist.org only lists pre-req’s for your major, while the IGETC requirements lists all necessary classes for its completion.

yes i know the difference - and i always assumed a college level math was mandatory to transfer for any major.

but IGETC is not required, just optional right? if i dont graduate to a college level math by spring, do i forfeit any chance of getting into a UC?

any hot girl? :)

I haven’t encountered anyone without completing the IGETC. For one thing, avoiding hard classes will come to an end once you transfer so if it’s required by IGETC, I’d take it–you want to be as competitive as possible.

Yes.

Don’t you know that LA and U$C have some of the hottest cheerleader in the entire country? :)

You aren’t eligible for UC admission, regardless of major, without at least 1 transferrable math class completed. They’ll basically say you’re ineligible and reject you. I’ve never heard of anyone getting in without math. I know some people who were accepted and then rescinded for not having the math class done that they were supposed to do.
