Hi guys
I'm probably going to apply to 3 summer programs since I got rejected last time and now I'm becoming worried because the summer's approaching.
How do I approach my teacher about three recommendations? Is that too much or not? Help? :(

Thank goodness for computers. The same letter, with minor editing, should be able to be used for all three. Or you could ask multiple teachers.

Three programs should be fine, as long as they don’t each require completely different kinds of recommendations (ex. one program asks specific questions about certain traits, another program is on a different subject and therefore needs a rec that focuses on other aspects… might make your teacher feel like you’re giving them too much extra work.)

Just be really polite when asking, check up with them periodically to make sure they remember the deadlines and finish the recs in time, and thank them profusely (give them a card afterwards). Teachers have no obligation to write us recommendations, so just remember that your teacher is taking their own free time to help you get into the program (also, make sure you REALLY want to go to the program and express to the teacher your great desire and passion for whatever it is.)

You can also provide the teacher(s) with your r
