Assistance and insight would be greatly appreciated. =)

I'm currently a freshman (please, don't bite the frosh) and I'm planning out my courses for sophomore year next year. Unfortunately, there aren't many advanced course options for sophomores at my school. Here is my planned schedule so far (brackets indicate indecisiveness):

AP European History
Honors Chemistry
[Honors Anatomy and Physiology]
Advanced Algebra 2 [this may change, for if possible I'll take Alg 2 over the summer and then be in Honors Trigonometry next year]
Spanish 2
Art 1
Badminton
English 10

As you can see, it's quite simple, but whether or not to take TWO Honors science classes is the thing that's irking me. And yes, my school isn't THAT great with advanced courses for sophomores... most of them are reserved for juniors and seniors.

My main question is: Would taking Honors Chem. AND Honors A & P benefit me?

Oh yeah, and my school allows a maximum of 7 classes a semester. It's actually normally only 6 classes but there's a additional optional 7th class we can take, which I DO plan on taking.

And I'm waiting for a decent reply.... BUMP?

BUMPITY BUMP BUMP...! I should've made the title more catchy, like: PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH HAS BEEN IMPEACHED! or something bizarre like that.

I wish I could take optional extra classes, for it would make my life a lot easier.
It would benefit you if you like to take science classes or if it would allow you to take additional higher level courses in the future. In addition, A/P is not a very common class in high schools, so I would just take it based on that alone. However, taking A/P w/o having done Biology first would just be stupid, for Biology is A/P's base.

If you think that you can do it, then go for it. Two science honors courses would benefit you, especially if you're planning to major in something in a related area.

Indeed, I took Biology this year. And apparently people think my schedule idea is suicidal. So I'm hesitant. But yes, thank you for your information about the Biology thing. =)

Badminton is a class!?! Sweet, I suck at it but its funny to play.

Yeah, badminton is awesome. It's required that I take another year of P.E. and therefore I chose badminton.

Do you like sciences and/or do they come easily to you? How difficult are your school's honors science classes?

I think Anatomy and Physiology would be a really interesting class, but probably only if you are interested in science. On the other hand, history classes (at least at my school) are definitely hefty in terms of time commitment... just the sheer amount of reading and stuff to memorize gets to you. So think it through, talk to your adviser or dean?, but if you've got the interest and discipline, go for it!
