I know people asked about merit scholarships (two weeks after admission decisions) but what about assured admission into the B school? I know it is very few students, but I didn't get anything that said I was NOT chosen. Is getting nothing a no or are those announced later as well? Thanks :)

Assured Admission is announced much later - last year the letters went out a few days after the the second deadline decisions were released. I believe that was either late March or early April. There was no separate application for Assured Admission to the Business School and I believe the offer was made to the top 50 applicants who expressed interest in the business major on their applications.

I asked about the Assured Enrollment in Business, and an Admissions rep specified that you do NOT have to have cited Business as your major to be considered for Assured Enrollment.

In fact, students are only chosen for any “Assured Enrollment” program in a general sense; once you are accepted to an “Assured Enrollment (X)”, THEN you specify your program of interest.

I want Assured Enrollment in Business as well :)

So they will potentially mail out a letter saying “please pick a program to be assured admittance to?” That seems kind of silly, IMO.

Or more likely, I misread your post :)

@MPWL, Well, essentially yes. Students are picked to enroll in an “Assured Admittance to (blank)” program, and you supposedly list your top picks (Business, Journalism) and you are notified if you got it.

I can c/p the e-mail when I get back to my house.

Thanks for the clarification :)
