Did not get it =/ what was inside?

Dang. Didn’t get it but maybe shouldn’t have expected anything because no honors or scholarship day. I love unc but I wish they’d try harder to sell themselves to me haha.

Son got it. He’s Honors Carolina and Scholarship day.

It wasn’t an envelope in the mail. It should have come via email.

Got it UVA - but what was inside the email? If you don’t mind me asking.

It just invited you to apply to a few different programs: assured enrollment in journalism, assured business, first year fellows, study abroad funding, etc.
I got it, but didn’t get honors/scholarship at all, so that’s why I wondered.

Thanks Goldy. I guess I’m out of the running for assured enrollment in business then =/

What is admission rate for business vs journalism? How special is it to be given any one of the opportunities in the email:

Assured enrollment in the b school is likely more valuable than assured enrollment in the j school.

No. 3 and No. 4 are sweet summer opportunities.

On No. 6, being able to take a couple of journalism classes early gives you broader choices later and lets you get a head start in some skills, especially if you want to work at the school paper/website or digital newsroom.

(From a parent of a UNC junior).

Has anyone heard back from this? IIRC, the reply date was April 1.

No! They said “on or around April 1st,” so I’m guessing they mailed it out today? I didn’t get anything, so I’m hoping that’s the case, haha.

I was Scholarship Day / Honors College, by the way.

Nothing new is in my inbox currently… maybe later today?

I got invitation to Honors Carolina, but no scholarship is offered… - -

Has anybody heard back about this? An email or letter or something?

My son has not heard anything yet.
