Can pay for either, which is the better value?

UIUC CS is a top 5 program nationally. Great industry contacts. However, if cost is an issue consider ASU Honors. Although, you should be able to pay back the difference in $ by landing a job with a CS degree.

Are these your only two options?

No, also accepted to Purdue, Ohio, UW/ Madison, & Minnesota.

So UIUC is 5th for Computer Science ranking and ASU / Barrett is 48th. When I look at the graduating statistics between ASU / Barrett and UIUC they seem to have similar placement rates, graduating salaries, and same quality of companies coming to interview.

If you like ASU/Barrett better, go for it. If you like them equally or like UIUC better and the extra cost is not an issue, then UIUC.
