I am having a difficult time deciding between these two schools first off. I know that ASU is known as "easy to get into" and a party school. I was recently accepted into the WP Carey School of Business as a Marketing major, and I have applied to CU's Leeds School of Business as a Marketing major as well. I have yet to hear CU's decision, but I hear that ASU's business school is ranked higher than CU's. I might also switch my major to journalism at ASU, because it's something I've always wanted to do and the journalism school there is also supposed to be very good. I would prefer CU Boulder over its location (great mountains, love the city and Denver too, MUCH closer to home), but I would also like to go to ASU because of the rankings of those schools. I enjoy the southwest region also. Any suggestions?

Both schools have a bit of a party-school image, so they might cancel each other out on that factor. ASU is known to be strong in Business and its Walter Cronkite School of Journalism is known esp. for things like broadcast.

ASU also has a Business Journalism specialization! [Business Journalism Specialization, B.A. | The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication](http://cronkite.asu.edu/undergrad/business_journalism.php)

But yeah, Colorado is sooo pretty. My friend considered applying after simply seeing one gorgeous shot of campus haha. Colorado is roughly half the size, so if that’s something you think you might like better, you should consider size of the student body. (ASU is the biggest university in the country… scary/cool depending on your outlook!)

Yes but at ASU the numbers are so high due to live at home commuters, not tat they don’t count but many are older students going back for a degree.
