So, I've narrowed it down to Arizona State University and Syracuse University. Honestly can't decide where to attend. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions, experience at either school, knowledge of the programs, etc to help make my decision a little bit easier. Syracuse is giving some money and said they'll find a way to give me more, and ASU won't even tell me how much I have until I register for classes there. Just need to decide soon!!!

ASU is a huge public university (55,000+ students on the Tempe campus) and Syracuse is a private school with less than 20,000 students.

ASU is in the SUN belt; SU is in the SNOW belt.

hehe, sounds as if you want me to go to ASU. But I am just wondering which will give me better job opportunities after, which has a stronger MArch program…

Actually, I wasn’t trying to sway you one way or the other; I was just pointing out what I consider to be big differences between the 2 locations.

As for the two architectural programs, I have no personal knowledge of either. However, I believe Syracuse is generally considered to have a stronger program than ASU.

Alright, thanks! Plus I believe I can study a year abroad in either London or Florence through Syracuse, which is appealing. And, from my research there are more scholarship opportunities with Syracuse :P

if you are into the B.Arch, i would highly recommend syracuse over ASU.

What is your opinion for M.Arch then?
