<p>I've reached the payment page, but I haven't paid the $100 deposit yet. Does everything I've done to the point count as my commitment to the school?
The thing is: I was absolutely sure I was going to UCSD, so i made a few clicks on the online app (a few too many), but now I changed my mind a bit, and I want to explore some other options I have. Do I basically have to go to UCSD now, or am I still not committed?</p>
<p>i wouldn't think so.. i mean i would think there would be one final page after the payment that has a review of everything you've done then you'll have to click something that says "YES SIR!" or something like that... don't worry about it because i wouldn't</p>
<p>Nope, as long as you haven't paid the deposit you are not bound to UCSD. In fact, you can even back out of the SIR after May 1 (you'll just lose your deposit).</p>

<p>Depending on your financial situation (FAFSA), I think UCSD waives the $100 deposit.</p>
