...at what score do you retake SAT subject tests??

I took the bio and chem subject tests and I got a 700 on chem and a 730 on Bio Molecular.

I plan on applying to Stanford in the fall (yes, I'm one of those people teehee). When I first saw these this morning, I was pretty happy with myself. I thought I bombed both of them. As the day progressed, most of my friends had 800s on chem (idk about bio)....and I felt like an idiot.

Now that I think of it 700 is actually not that competitive for Stanford, am I right? The 730 probably isn't either...

So should I retake them both in the fall? (Probz going to take Math 2 as well and do ecology instead of molecular). Hopefully I get an 800 on bio and 800 or 790 on chem. Is it worth doing this for only Stanford and UC Berkeley? I really want to get in..

What is your major ? retake Chem if I were you.

Yeah, the Bio is not bad, but the chem you could definitely improve on. Make sure you try Math I or II as well, that is, if you are applying to some engineering.

I’m going for a science major, leaning towards Bio, but I was considering a minor in Chem…I guess this summer is full of studying for these tests…aghhh. so much for relaxing.
