I’d stick an acceptance letter on my wall :P

I’ve only just realized that most people don’t save all of their emails.

oh don’t get me wrong, im obsessive over this whole process as well, hence why I visit CC. but there are limits that anyone can see even while riding the same wave. check your email and mail every 5 minutes for 5 hours? Or go outside with friends? guess its no big deal, i know what ill be doing :D

^How often do most of us hang out with friends on a Wednesday?* Deliberately changing your behavior to appear “normal” is no more normal than compulsively checking one’s email.

*I frequently hang out with my friends in Indiana on Thursdays, so I probably actually wouldn’t consider it weird if you do on Wednesdays.

How many Undergrads are going to be accepted this year?

It’s usually around 2,000, which would yield an incoming class of approximately 1,600.

So unfortunately, it will be April 1 rather than March 31 this year.

@Millancad, I save all my emails too. Except things like daily comics and ads of course.

deliberately changing your behavior to appear normal? it’s not about “appearing normal” at all, and i dont quite understand what you mean by normal, care to define “normal” for me? :D. I mean to suggest you simply enjoy your time, if you can, before one of the most stressful few minutes of most of our lives. Changing my behavior to enjoy a Wednesday night is nothing i really feel ashamed about. What would you rather do, worry a mountain for hours? Or worry a pebbles-worth for the few minutes before you open your email? Twas merely suggesting you enjoy the day more than worry.

I actually do go out with friends on Thursdays as I dont quite have a safe place to go home to. So at least for me and those I hang out with, weekdays, especially now with senioritus and a relaxed school load, are quite an enjoyable flexible experience. :D

Bahahaahhaa. What a waste of a byte.

And to:
No, no, Nooooooooooo! panicked forehead clenching

@Holdingon: In general, outside of skiing, I actually hate hanging out with my friends, so yeah, I probably would rather worry. But I’m strange like that. I will likely stay home, I mean, it’s a school night, waste time on the internet like I always do, maybe go to ballet (that would mean missing my decision though, and all my friends there would like to hear), or start my HW. But I consider routine and stressing more calming and exciting, respectively, than actively truing to pursue some equanimity, as it were, before the storm.

@Mifune: Where did you learn that April 1 was the date? Also, I’ve been wondering, is your sn to be pronounced (trippingly on the tongue) with two syllables or three?

Harvard Admissions website has been updated.

^I just changed my countdown timer to April 1st. It was sad. I cried a little.
