Athletic Ticket Process

I’ve been admitted EA and I am wondering what the student ticket process is like.

If any current student could shed some light on obtaining tickets for football, basketball, hockey, etc. that would be just great!

I love college sports and it is definately a factor in my decision for next fall.

yeah, same here. i'd like information as well.

There is no issue, including freshman of obtaining tickets so long as you are diligent about it.

Football- you get a letter amongst a lot of paperwork over the summer that you can sign up for season tickets- if you do so quickly, you will have no issues.
Hockey- There is a lottery for student tickets- very few people "lost" in the lottery. Even if they did, the only issue you may have to obtain a ticket is for BU.
Basketball- On certain Wednesday's at 7 a.m., they go on sale online. So long as you remember the dates, you will have no issue.

Not hard.

Football - Over the summer you'll receive letters in the mail about football tickets (I believe in orientation as well). All you have to do is send the money to BC for the tickets and they will be mailed out to you a couple of weeks before classes start.

Hockey - This is done during the school year (early October). BC sends out an e-mail to students for season tickets. There is a lottery process; however, I don't believe many students apply for the lottery, so chances are you'll get the tickets.

Basketball - this is the interesting sport at BC. I am currently a sophomore here and in freshman year, they offered 3 classes of tickets, season tickets (10 games), and 2 groups of 5 games each. Students were entered into a lottery and the people who won got one of the 3 classes of tickets. This year, BC sold tickets to the "bad" games (non conference) as a package and is selling the big games (ACC) as separate.
