Hey, guys! So recently I've been thinking about doing sports in college. It's strange because I've spent my entire high school experience telling myself that I wouldn't do sports in college. Yet, here I am... suddenly wanting to. Now, the problem is that It's too late to get recruited. I applied to NYU in November and was admitted in early january. I honestly never thought about doing sports. I mean, I'm good at them but never actually considered them a possibility. But, thinking about giving up track absolutely breaks my heart. So, with that being said, I was wondering what the rule is for walk-ons with nyu sports? Could I just go to the try out's? or no? I also looked up the girls results and their "best times" for the team and I've gone faster and jumped farther (I run and do jumps) than what they've done in the past few years... do you think this would help at all? or no?

NYU does not really recruit like schools with competitive athletics, so you absolutely have a shot at getting on the team as a walk-on. Just go to the try-outs
