ATMs/Banks on campus?

Would someone please let me know which banks have a branch on campus and which have ATMs? Which seem to offer the best student accounts? Thanks.

Chevy Chase Bank....."Byrd Stadium at Chevy Chase Bank Field"(big money donated last fall) ....Chevy Chase Bank/ATM's are what you will find on campus.

Thanks, mom. I was hoping you'd name a bank that exists near our home. Guess that's not to be. Any other recommendations while you're online? Restaurants to frequent (or avoid)? Hotels (pros/cons)?

Chevy Chase is pretty much it on campus. They donated a lot of money for upgrading/renovating the stadium. I'm sure part of the deal was they were the only banking services on campus. I can't really tell you anything about hotels. We live about 45 minutes from campus so we don't really ever use the hotels in the area. Our favorite restaurants are Hard Times Cafe, Ledo's, TGIFridays, and Jaspers. We frequent one of these after games. They are always full of fellow Terp fans. Hard Times is known for its Chili. They have a small room that will hold about 20 or so that you can reserve. You can reserve part of the room if there are only 10 or so. Everything else is booths of 2, 4, or 6. Ledo's and TGIFridays are first come, first serve. Jaspers takes reservations, which is why we sometimes will choose it. Ledo's now has many other locations but this is the original one. I went there as a student many, many years ago.

wow....a bank with the same name as the comedian....that is soooo sad.

ihavenolife-- it's also a city in MD

u can use bank of america. They are everywhere
or u can use terrapin express, which is like a credit card on campus.

wow...a city with a same name as the comedian....still sad... :)

There are Bank of America locations close to campus but none of them are actually on campus. I think there is one on the Route. Chevy Chase is the only bank you are going to find on campus. Terrapin Express is used for food and products at places on campus. Unless it has changed, isn't exactly an ATM card. You can not take cash out with it.

There is a Bank of America on Route 1 by Knox Road (same shopping center as Starbucks, Chipotle, Noodles and Co., etc.). It's convenient enough--so long as you take enough for a week or so.

use google earth u can find all the banks, dining places

i thought there's a bank of america atm in stamp union or some other buildings.

no, only chevy chase. the closes to bank of america you'll get is on route 1. which is fairly close, but it's really convenient if you have chevy chase.. there are atms everywhere. there's one near byrd stadium, or in cspac, which is right across from denton (honors freshman dorms), and other areas on campus i don't go to a lot. and if u have to talk to someone/deposit money and you're too busy with midterms to go to route 1 (like how i am now), you can just stop by the stamp which is probably close to at least one of your classes.
