attaching scores

I took an AP test this past May, but dont have a copy of my results, nor do I remember whether or not I sent my score to USC. Will it be a problem if I dont attach a copy of my results and just make sure that I had my scores sent. Thanks!!

You do not need to send AP scores to USC until you are admitted and plan to go there (I think!).

I concur with Nikara- you don't send AP scores until you are accepted.

Directly from the USC Application booklet:
"Freshman applicants who have taken AP examinations are encouraged to provide those results with there admission application."

Please refer to my original question. Thank you.

This is from the FAQ on the Undergraduate Admissions site-
"AP results have no bearing on our admission decision-making."
USC Undergraduate Admission: Frequently Asked Questions

But in answer to your question, I'm not sure what you mean by "attach a copy of my results." Attach it to what?

That is new this year then. In past years, they haven't taken into account AP scores, just that the person had taken the AP class. Thus, I can't answer your question. Call the admission office.

Hah- confusing, yes.

Make the call to admissions, just to be sure.

I thought you have to send it in- Form 5 of the online application? It wants a photocopy of your score reports- SAT and AP included. From what I've read, it seems like they would accept it even if it's a little after the deadline, but I think it's just better to mail those in, wouldn't it?

If you apply on-line, there's a section where you self-report your AP scores. I don't think you need to do more than that, until you know for sure that you're going to USC. Then you would order official scores to be sent so that you get AP credits, and I don't believe those scores will go to the Admissions Office.

As for Form 5, I believe that is directed at the scores that are actually required: SAT or ACT. It mentions including AP scores in the application, but does not say to send them official reports.
