Attending both schools

short and simple, I know it's unethical but I told 2 schools that I'm both attending their school. One is BU and the other one is Baruch CUNY . BU is a private and Baruch is a public.

I told both schools that I'm going, would anything happen if I choose to attend one or the other? What if I go to class at one school and never go to the other school?

thanks

why did you say yes to both?

tell the one your not going to .... your not going i guess...

well i would imagine that if they think you're attending their school they're going to ask for your money eventually...

at that point.. is there anything i can do then? if i dont want to attend that school ?

If you double deposited, both schools can rescind your admission. It's unethical to hold places in two schools after the reply date (usually May 1). Obviously, you can't attend both schools. You have to tell one or both that you aren't attending. You can't just "not show up."

If you don't want to attend the school, tell them. What the heck?

What you are doing is not fair to the folks who still may be on the wait list at the school you are turning down. Imagine how you would feel if you were that person. You really need to get over yourself and tell the "no" school "no." If you double deposited, that's bad enough, and you will likely lose your second deposit. Be the responsible person you need to be, and do the right thing.

Ummmm.... what kinda answer did you think would be proffered to you even by ASKING your question? Do the honest thing and withdraw from the school you don't intend to attend. Immediately contact your target school and ask them to understand your flakiness and hope for the best. You really have inconvenienced one school and you should own up to any consequences you many encounter.

Tell the school you don't want to go to you got in off the waitlist at the other. Then thank whatever higher power if you don't get in trouble.
