Attention all AP Euro!

I still do not know how the Renaissance started, my teacher mentioned for 2 seconds why it started in Florence, but it affected the Reformation because of the secular movements, frauds in the church were recognized like the Donation of Constantine being fake. Also, the Popes during the Renaissance were very secular themselves, i forget his name, but one guy basically had a purely political papacy, giving his son the kingdom of Romagna. Also, the sale of indulgences took place during this time.

I feel bad for whoever has the western heritage by Kagan. That book sucks. I hated reading that last yr, but wait til college cuz it's worse.

A History of Western Society (god knows which edition) by Mckay, Hill and Buckler, volume two.

Don't diss McKay..it's a heck of a lot better than Kagan! :P

You don't really need a course for this exam. Use REA 1-2 months before the test and you'll be set for a 5.

A History of Western Society Since 1300, 7th Edition I think? haha.

we got a BIG book called that at first, then we got a new book & it was super slim and said 'AP Edition' with DBQs in the back. it's awesome, haha.
