QUESTION!
i was thinking about sending in my grades, because i got a 4.0 with hard classes last semester, but i thought there was some form i had to fill out or something, but i couldn't find it on the website.
so what did you do when you had her updated transcripts sent? was there really a form, or did you just put her UMichID number on them, or what?</p>
<p>I think most apps probably end up initially being sorted by numbers i.e. gpa/sat etc... and those with superb numbers can get in pretty quickly while those others are more critically evaluated. I remeber i sent in my application around Dec 1st, umich id on Dec 17th and then got my decision on the 23rd. My gpa was 3.92 uw, 6 aps through junior year, and 2330.</p>
<p>brenna...My daughter took a stamped UM addressed envelope with her UMID# on the outside and took it to the counseling office and asked them to send in her semester grades. She did this the week of 2/5. If possible, maybe your school could fax them your semester grades but be SURE to put your UMID# on it. Maybe also have your HS counselor or another teacher add an additional rec or even you could include a letter stating you are STILL very much interested in attending UM? My daughter contacted them via the Live Help to be SURE that the grades had been received. The girl told her it usually takes 2-3 weeks to process them into the system but she would check. Luckily, the grades had been received. It just made the "unknown" easier to handle after ALL this time. The next day she was accepted. Just some thoughts to try.

<p>Brenna, are you sure your application was "complete" on 11/14. Cause if you sent it in on 11/14, chances are it probalby wasn't complete until about sometime in early December. The 14 weeks don't start counting until your app is "complete"</p>

Should I sent my midyear grades now or wait till I get a letter from UMich telling me to send them...? Mine was completed in 12/13</p>
