Attention all Posters: You guys are too good!

I consider myself a good candidate for Vanderbilt with my 3.5 and my 1400 and so does my guidance counselor. Why is it that when I look at all of the threads made by people who want to be "chanced" they end up having a 3.9 and like a 1500? Do you guys consider yourselves representative of all applicants to Vandy or are you guys like the high end of the spectrum?

I don't know if you would find this helpful too but this is last years admissions statistics. Last year the applicant pool was vastly different from years past and these stats are probably the best indicator of your true status, probably better than your guidance counselor. It has avg GPA, SAT, ACT, and some other good info from last years admitted class.
