<p>Do I need to submit the CSS Profile or the FAFSA forms? Any help would be greatly appreciated!</p>
<p>If you are applying to schools in the USA, you will need to go by each schools international student requirements. Many private schools treat Canadian kids just like Americans in terms of offering aid; however you would not qualify for federal funds- I am not sure if you would still do the FAFSA, since it qualifies you for federal aid, but some schools may still have you use it as the info tracks into their system.</p>
<p>I have Canadian friends who still get fin aid, but they are at private schools and they DO the CSS Profile.</p>
<p>The FAFSA references specific line items on the form 1040 so it can't apply to Canadians.</p>
